Baby Product Update: Meal Time Products

E is now a full-fledged toddler (19 months and counting). Looking back, I do regret a number of purchases made, especially with regards to meal time. It really is absurd the number of cups/plates/utensils we have in the house. To note, we practiced (still practicing) Baby-Led Weaning (BLW) so E has by and large been feeding herself since the very beginning (6 months of age).

BLW: On the go

Happy 2016! I haven’t posted lately because we’ve been away from home and busy just getting used to “real” home again. I will be posting some long-haul travel tips soon based on our international travel experiences. We are still doing baby-led weaning (BLW) with E (with occasional spoon-feeding). E loves food and is generally a hearty eater. She is a little “cautious” when you give her something new to eat, but is pretty open to try new things, especially when you let her feed herself.

Choosing a Diaper Bag

Before E was born I did a fair amount of research into what kind of diaper bag I wanted/needed and what to put in it. I watched a number of YouTube videos, asked around and spent agonizing hours thinking about what to get. Honestly, I shouldn’t have thought SO hard about it.

The truth is, any bag can be used/converted into a diaper bag. What matters to most women, in my opinion, is the style. Nowadays there are many stylish options that don’t scream diaper bag. Also, you don’t have to buy something labelled “diaper bag”. I have successfully used my Longchamp Pliage (Medium) as a diaper bag (will get into that on another post).
