Since space is tight, the hubs and I had to decide very carefully on what type/how much baby gear we needed. We have been happy with our baby gear so far.
Here’s what we currently have:
1. Mountain Buggy Nano Stroller: We chose this stroller because it is LIGHT and takes up very little space in our house and car trunk. We can easily bring it with us on trips as it can fit in the overhead compartment of a plane. We also did not have to purchase any additional adapters to attach our car seat onto the stroller. It does require a little bit more effort, but it’s a small price to pay for all the other pros. In addition to the stroller, I also purchased these stroller hooks and organizer to attach to the stroller.
2. Chicco KeyFit30 Infant Car Seat: Well-reviewed and safe. There are many other options but I decided to just go with this one. We are happy with the car seat and yes, it is very easy to install. You can also use it without the base.
3. Solly Baby Wrap: I was looking for a baby wrap that wasn’t so warm. The Solly Wrap is made from a lenzing modal material that is very light and cool – perfect for warm/hot weather use.
4. Boba 4G carrier: We love our Boba 4G carrier and I am thinking of getting the Boba Air as well. The carrier comes with an easy to use infant insert and is very easy to use and adjust. It also is comfortable and easy to adjust for both the hubs and I. I am pretty petite and the carrier fits me well. We also purchased the stuff sack to keep the carrier in. Don’t forget drool/suck pads for when baby starts “biting and sucking” the straps at the side. Etsy has many cool options. I bought mine from this store and have been very pleased with the quality and service.
UPDATE: We also have the Boba Air. We love it as it is perfect for running errands and traveling. It is very portable, light, easy to clean, and cooler (perfect for hot weather). Do note the Boba Air can only be used when baby is about 15lbs and above. E was 6 months when we started using it.
